Christopher for Model Number GLER341AS2 I received my new door switch and I am not sure which color goes where. The colors on my dryer are: Blue, Grey and Red. there is also a brown wire that does not lead to the control panel that looks as if it may be a ground wire. Thanks in advance,
Answer Hello Christopher, As per the wiring diagram for your unit, the blue wire connects to the common terminal labeled "C" on the switch, the Gray connects to the normally open terminal labeled "NO", and the brown wire is the light in the drum. It connects to the normally closed terminal labeled "NC".The red wire should be connected to the other side of the light socket. Read More...
