Jimmy for Model Number 253.44723100 Fridge will not cool below 50 degrees. The condenser coils are clean, the condenser fan runs, the compressor runs and the evaporator fan runs. There is a light coating of frost on the top of the evaporator and about 1/4-inch of frost build-up on the tube at the upper left of the evaporator. What is your opinion? Is it possible that the fridge is stuck in the defrost mode and, if so, what would cause this?
Answer Jimmy, Thanks for the question!!! If stuck in defrost you would not have fans running or any cooling. It appears to be a sealed system issue as all components are running. You will need to contact an EPA-certified Technician. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, April 4, 2023
