Matt E. for Model Number FRS22PRAD (sometimes has 0 or 2 at end, all same) Fridge side warmed up. Found hole between sides clogged w/frost & ice. Cleared it, problem returned. Eventually replaced thermostat and defrost timer. Temp on freezer got to at least 0 degrees F, fridge finally got just below 40. Less than 2 days later fridge warmed again. Frost built up again. Fan still blows. Was thinking of trying to replace damper assembly on fridge side, except that doesn't solve the persistent frosting up. Any ideas? We really can't afford a new fridge, but we're getting tired of living out of ice chests. Thank you for your time.
Answer Matt, With there being frost build up then there is a issue with moisture getting into the refrigerator. Look for signs of air leak around the door gaskets and around the ice door of the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, November 23, 2016
