Allen, Tx Resident for Model Number FRS26ZSHB3 I paid a technician to replace my temperature cold control (PS462839) two years ago. This January, the freezer/refrigerator stopped cooling on its own. However, if I just open the freezer door, or tap on the box that houses the thermostat, the then that activates the cold control to turn on, as it has stopped activating on its own. Is the temperature cold control device bad or is it something else? If possible, I would really like to replace the part myself this time.
