David for Model Number EIMGD60LT2 The clothes in the unit smell burnt unless the unit is set on "low" heat. Unit does not auto shutoff when overheating. Is the Thermistor the most likely cause since the unit completes the cycle regardless of overheating? Thank you in advance.
Answer Hello David. The main thing that causes this is poor venting on the dryer. You will need to check the vent and the internal duct on the dryer as well. The thermistor if defective can cause heat issues as well. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
