Jeff for Model Number 417.88042700 I just replaced the electronic control board for this dryer and that fixed the problem of the dryer not working at all. Now my customer is complaining about the dryer working fine for one or two cycles than doesn't want to heat at all. Everything has been checked and rechecked. The thermistor is the only thing that didn't register continuity. How many ohms is it supposed to read? What should I check next? Power coming in is 240.
Answer Jeff, The control thermistor reading should be 50000 ohms at room temperature plus or minus 10 percent. If outside this range then replace the thermistor. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, August 1, 2013
