Philip for Model Number Aeq6000es2 I have a Frigidaire electric dryer that does turn on. The dryer has 240v on terminal and the thermal limiter looks ok. The control board does not light up, however, I do not know how to check for power at the control board. Can the control thermistor cause this? How can I determine if this control board is defective.z
Answer Hi Stuck. The dryer (obviously) has 240vac supplied to the terminal block. If you are going to check anything electrically, first make sure you are completely safe and your dryer circuit breaker is working correctly. The terminal block should have 240vac on the two outer legs, and 120vac from the outer legs (L-1 & L-2) to the center neutral (terminal) screw consecutively. Make sure you are safe and do - not come in contact with any live electrical parts. The supplied wiring diagram should help, as you will be able to follow 120vac to the control board. The control board is part #134557201NH. Thank -you and we are here to help. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, June 28, 2011
