David R. for Model Number frigidaire feq1442es0 My dryer almost immediately starts to overheat when set to "normal" cycle setting and set to high temp, this problem also occurs at medium heat setting but never at low setting. I have zero air restrictions, have checked all thermostats/thermistors that are accesible besides what is in the control panel. Also, when temp gets up, it sounds as if either the drum or the fan is running out of balance (I am not sure if this is due to extreme temps or another issue). Hate to replace this thing, have replaced all bearings previously. Help, if you are willing!
Answer David, With all of the thermostats checking ok and there being no restrictions in the venting, this issue would most likely be caused by a sticking relay on the control board. It sounds like the heater relay is stuck and causing this issue. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, January 8, 2015
