Ken for Model Number 41784152500 Can the Thermistor also be checked by a Ohms meter? Thermistor has significant resistance. Dryer over heats and when I checked the Thermostat and Thermal Limiter both had near '0' ohms. Ducting cleaned out and control board timer still works but still over heating with this loud humm/buzzing sound when it gets over heated.
Answer Ken, Check to make sure that the blower wheel does not have heavy lint build up on that would cause the unit to not pull the air properly. Also check the cycling thermostat to make sure that it is opening when it gets to temp. If not then the unit will overheat. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, April 30, 2013
