Rickasoris for Model Number Frigidaire Gallery FLWSH GLTF1670AS0 My washer worked fine until my last load of wash. The washer started normally, filled with water and went into the wash cycle; however, it failed to go into the spin mode. The timer dial is not advancing when it hits the spin cycle. I manualy moved the dial to the final spin mode. The pumps come on and drain the water from the washer but the spin cycle never begins. I left the washer with the timer engaged in the final spin mode and left it 15 minutes, when I returned the pump was still attempting to drain water which was all drianed but the timer had not advanced and the spin cycle never started. Moving the dial by hand did not start the spin cycle. When I moved the dial to the end of the spin cycle the washer turned it's self off, any ideas. The washer was built in 2003. Thanks, Rick
Answer Rickasoris, A couple of things to check and look for. Drain hoses and drain pump. Make sure there aren't any clogs or kinks in the hoses and pump . Check and disconnect the air tube to the pressure switch 134433701 and check that there's no kinks or twists and blow in the hose to clear any debris, or deposits from the tube. If the pressure switch does not reset to the empty setting, the washer won't spin. Thanks and Good Luck Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, December 13, 2011
