Craig for Model Number 253.70343410

Hello, I asked the question below last night but it was incorrect. Nothing is getting cold and the LED has some bright and some faded digits. I have an old interface that worked but had bad LED's. I saved it to use in an emergency. I installed it and I still don't have any cooling. Is there a way to check the part suggested below (look for visual bunt board) and a wiring diagram available? Also is there a video for this part. I want to order what I need today. Thanks, Craig Hello, After a power surge and power failure our freezer will cool but not the fridge. I went through all of the options to check the settings. Do you think it's the interface? Thanks Craig for Model Number 253.70343410 ANSWER Craig, if the freezer will reach proper temperatures, it is likely that the main control 242115283 was damaged by the surge and is not properly sensing temperatures. However, power surges can cause failures throughout an appliance.

Answer

Craig, the compressor and fans would need to be inspected to see if they are operating. If they are not operating at all, the main control would be the cause of failure. If the fans are operating but the compressor is not, the inverter 5304512686 would need to be tested for 12VDC from the red wire to the black wire on the same connector. If there is voltage, the inverter has failed. If there is not, the main control 242115283 has failed.
