Frustratedwithfridge for Model Number LGHS2634KEO We've had the filter 2 times in the past 4 years leak water all over the kitchen floor, apparently when it's clogged. Will the bypass allow us to continue the use of our ice maker without the worry of the filter clogging anymore? We don't care if our water is filtered if it means we can continue to use this fridge and not worry when away from home.

Answer Hello! Yes, the filter bypass part number 242294402 will allow you to use the icemaker and water dispenser.
