Lizette for Model Number Frigidaire JBND-26 My husband recently replaced our water filter with the ultrawf from Lowe's while I was away. The smell and taste were terrible when I returned. He said he ran the system for the amount of Time instructed per the package. We purchased another one and after installation and running water through the filter, it was great. So I thought I would give the other one a try again and ran it through several times and it now tastes like it should. Would I be able to store either one until I need it in 6 months? Perhaps in the fridge to keep From mold growth since there is water in the fiter now?
