David for Model Number FGHB2866PF9A Removed the water filter (pushed in and removed) and when installed new filter it will not lock in place. Tried the old water filter and it will not stay locked in place. What happened? Dave
Answer David, you may want to check the filter head base [242009602] for any obstructions or broken pieces. If the filter head base is clear or broken it would need to be replaced. It is also possible that the water pressure going to the unit may be preventing the filter from being able to properly secure.
