Richard for Model Number FFSS2615TS5 My refrigerator has a filter model WF3CB. The manual says I could use Model ULTRAWF also. When I tried to replace the old filter with the ULTRAWF it would not lock. I take it that they are not interchangeable. Am I right.
Answer Richard, the manufacturer does say that the original filter WF3CB should be able to be replaced by the alternate filter ULTRAWF. However, as it will not lock into the filter base, it would be likely that the filter base in your unit is not able to accept the alternate filter (if the original filter will install back into place).
