Nick for Model Number WB24T10025 / AP2024072 Is this normal or a defective product? Bought the switch for an electric stove. On the back side of the switch is an open section that has a long metal piece, you can see it in the pictures. Within that open section is some type of electrical looking flicker of light deep within the switch when we turn the range on. The flicker is concerning without understanding if it's normal or not. Light flickers from the back of the switch every 3 to 12 seconds, but deep within that open section. None of the flickering is at the connectors. Is that flickering normal operation of the switch when it's on?
Answer Hello Nick, yes this is normal, some burner switches have openings in the case and when the switch is cycling the burner you can see a slight arc as the switch's contacts open and close. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, October 17, 2022
