Richard for Model Number JBP25DK3WH - Part Number WB24T100 (based on reading off the old part number) Does this item, have a fuse? The one on the right has what looks like a fuse broken off - perhaps it shorted out. And will this broken fuse cause the two large burners (each controlled by it own item #19 in the diagram cause the large burners not come on?
Answer Hello Richard. You will want to use a multi meter MA-DM1 to test the element and switch. To test the element put the meter on the element's terminal and you should read a closed circuit. To test the switch, reset the meter to 240v. Insert the meter leads into the slots into the burner receptacle. Turn on knob make sure you have 220 - 240v AC. If you don't have power going to the receptacle, check the wires coming from the switch to the burner. If wires are okay, then you will have to replace the switch WB24T10025. Thanks Read More...
