Dan B for Model Number JSP26BOW4AD I can find model JSP26BW4AD listed several places for GE electric range, but not JSP26BOW4AD. Are they the same? The oven control is allowing 45-50 volts to the lower element even when turned off. This happened after the lower element burned up with a flash and flames. I think the oven control is cooked do you agree? Thanks, Dan
Answer Hello Dan! With the element off you should still be pulling 120V on one side. You will need to check the voltage at your outlet at your home. If that is ok, you will have to trace where the shortage is coming from starting from the terminal. Hope this helps! Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, May 6, 2011
