Dan for Model Number JSP26BOW4AD This is a follow-up top my prior question. 1) Is JSP26BOW4AD same as JSP26BW4AD? The first is taken from the GE range. The second is the closest match I can find when searching online. 2) Please further explain, why should there be any voltage to the bake element when the oven is shut off? Shouldn't the control turn off both legs of the 240V? I do have 240V at the top burners, so know the circuit to the range is okay. Thanks again, Dan
Answer Hello Dan. Yes, that is the correct model number. One side of the elements run from the terminal block, the other side comes from the control. There is always 120 volts coming to the element with the oven pluged in. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, May 6, 2011
