Robert for Model Number SCB1001KSS01 I received my digitiron part yesterday and installed it today. The screen never lit up and the turntable would turn when the door was open. I put the old part back in so I can use the microwave. I have the part ready to ship back but would appreciate any help before I return. The part was very easy to put in and I was looking forward to a new microwave, but unfortunately, it didn't work out that way.
Answer Hello Robert, This sounds like there is an issue with a door switch. It is recommended by the manufacturer to replace all three door switches at the same time since they carry the same current and if one fails, the other two will fail soon after. You will need to order two WB24X10047 and one WB24X25397. As far as getting the digitron replaced, you will need to call us at 1-877-477-7278 with your model and serial number of the microwave and we can set up a shipment of a replacement part under the part warranty at no cost to you.
