Manufacturer Part Number: WB27X10856

The Digitron is an OEM part for GE microwaves. It is an essential component of the microwave's control board, displaying settings, cooking times, and other information on the microwave's digital display.

Over time, the Digitron can fail due to electrical issues, exposure to moisture, or normal wear and tear. If the Digitron is malfunctioning, it can affect the readability of the display or the functionality of the control panel.

Symptoms of a bad Digitron include:

  • The display being dim or completely dark
  • Inaccurate or incomplete information shown on the screen
  • Flickering or intermittent display issues
  • Unresponsive control buttons linked to the display

This GE replacement part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.

Eanew for Model Number GE Advantium model ZSC1001KSS01

Original Problem as per chat with Appliance Pro: The display keeps "jumping around" and flickers, i.e. the clock displays correct time...but it is constantly on the move center-top left-top right......etc. All microwave and oven functions work properly, even though the display information is "jumping around" and flickers. Appliance Pro Chat Reply: You will need to check the wiring. If the wiring is good then you will need to replace the Digitron WB27X10856 / AP3883432 Part Number: AP3883432 board. We checked the wiring and ordered Digitron WB27X10856 / AP3883432. Last week I received my Digitron part installed it. The screen and all controls were blank and the turntable would turn and we could hear a "clicking" noise. The only way to stop the turntable and clicking noise was to unplug the Advantium. I put the old part back in so I can use the microwave and it functioned as it did before removal (flickering and working). 2 Questions: 1) Do you think the new Digitron board we purchased was faulty since it created a Major Problem, making the Advantium unusable. 2) We still need to fix the original problem with the display (flickering and working) Thank you in advance for your support.

Answer

Eanew, With the digitron having no display on the new one but the one does then this would most likely be a faulty digitron that would need to be replaced. This would be the most likely cause for this issue.
