Kyle for Model Number Gld5800L00cc Our dishes come out clean but will not dry. Especially cups and things on the tops rack.during the dishwasher running I've felt the outside if it and it barely gets warm. So we always have to towel dry our dishes after running them thru the dishwasher. I've tried every setting (heated dry (always), pots & pans, normal, etc) that there is and nothing gets the dishes dry. Do I need a new heating element or what should I do or check? This is my first home and have been here for 2.5 years so I don't have a lot of home maintenance experience. Please help.
Answer Kyle, The first thing to do is to check the detergent that you are using to see if it has a rinse aid in it. If not then check your rinse aid reservoir to see if there is any rinse aid in it. If there is not and you are not using a detergent with rinse aid then add rinse aid which should help the drying. Also check to make sure that you are purging the hot water before turning on the dishwasher. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, April 21, 2014
