The question of the day is,the diode that's shown in the wiring diagram (looks like is's on the solenoid, but it's actually integrated into the wiring!) is a Zener. Should it read like a normal diode? I'm showing .8 ohms both ways! And how can I get a replacement?? Answer Hi John . Yes, it seems like your diode is reading true. A regular diode will only read one way if they are good. If you can send us the specific specifications on the diode (voltage, amps. ) then i can look in our parts list and find one that should work. The water valve is part # WD15X10003. Thank- you.
