Michael for Model Number PDW8280N20SS Initially, GE dishwasher interior was incredibly hot, melting the lower spray arm. I removed the spray arm and found a metal fork under it. I removed the fork and purchased a new lower spray arm. I ran the dishwasher with the new spray arm and it ran even hotter than it was before, making hot steam inside. The heating element was so hot that it melted the bottom of the utensil caddy. The heating element does not appear to be cracked. Where is the temperature sensor in the dishwasher?
