Ronald C for Model Number wwa8800rblwh My washer is having problems agitating. It pumps water fine and will spin. When I looked at the drive components I found a heavy lubricating grease like substance ( molybdenum ?) had been deposited all over the place. I cleaned off the drive pulleys and belt And tightened the belt.. But the agitation is not consistent. I believe this is a pattern failure. Does this mean the transmission has failed? Can it be repaired? If so what parts would be needed? Thanks
Answer Hello Ronald. The part you are needing, WH38X53 has been permanently discontinued by the manufacturer and we don't know of any source or replacement for the part. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, April 3, 2014
