Christine for Model Number GE PSA1200RBB02 Hi, I discovered there is no charcoal filter on this microwave. I've washed the grease filter several times but have always been curious where the charcoal filter was. There is none! What is the purpose of the fan then? Do other microwaves have charcoal filters? I wanted to use the fan option to clear the air of cooking odors as I did with my other microwave that was also GE and had a very expensive charcoal filter to replace. Thank you for your time, Christine
Answer Christine, if your unit is not vented to the outside and recirculates the air inside, the unit should have a charcoal filter installed. If the charcoal filter is needed it is part number WB02X35607. Thanks! Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, April 30, 2014
