Bill T. for Model Number JVM 1630WB 004 I just received a new fuse for my GE Micro but I still have no power. Are there two fuses or is there another problem?
Answer Hello Bill, There is a thermostat WB27X10195 halfway across the top of the unit mounted on top of the cooking compartment. It's normally called a cavity thermostat. This prevents over-temperatures in the cavity. If I remember correctly, both wires to it are black. You remove the vent across the top front of the unit and it is accessed from the front. Be aware that the thermostat cannot be bypassed without creating a fire hazard. Also, make sure the unit is unplugged before touching it as there is 120Vac on one side of this thermostat at all times even if it is open. Read More...
