J Murphy for Model Number SCA2000BWW03 Ge Advantium All buttons and lights work microwave goes on but does not heat. Could this be the magnetron tube? If so where do I place my tester to read ohms. Thanks
Answer Hello J Murphy. Yes, it could be. You will unplug the wires from the side of the magnetron and place the leads onto the terminals of the magnetron. It should read less than 1 ohm and open to ground. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
