Gary for Model Number pvm1870sm1ffs I have a GE Profile over the range microwave model #pvm1870sm1ffs and there is no power, but the plug in does have power, is there an internal fuse? and where is it located and changed. Do I have to take the unit down to change it? Thank you, Gary
Answer Gary, There are a couple of fuses on unit. There is a 20 amp 250 v fuse that is behind the control panel that you could test to see if it is bad. There are also thermal cutoff fuses inside the unit. To access the 20 amp fuse you will remove the grill and take screw out at top of control panel and take off the control panel. The other fuses would require the unit to be pulled from installation and take the cabinet off to test for continuity on the fuses to make sure that they are good. If there is no continuity then replace the fuse. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, March 21, 2013
