Paul for Model Number DDE6500GBL The unit starts making loud squeaking noises, then it runs quietly for a bit but now steadily runs noisily. It's an old dryer and found the front felt seal worn in some spots. Can't find the felt seal. should I replace the belt, idler pulley, and front glides when I do find the front drum felt seal?
Answer Hello Paul, You will need to replace the rear bearing kit WE25M40 and the idler pulley WE12X83. The belt WE12X10014 should be inspected for cracks. If cracking it should be replaced. The felt seal WE9X30 is a necessity so you will have to find one or the unit will not be repairable. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, June 17, 2015
