Answer Hello Curt, The motor pulley has ridges on the sides of it. This keeps the belt riding in the same place. The idler pulley will stay in line with it because it has high ridges. As long as the belt is installed properly, there will be no issue. By properly I mean to manually turn the drum one full turn to straighten the belt before completing the re-assembly. Read More...
