Louis I'm looking for an all metal appliance knob for a GE electric dryer. It needs to fit a 1/4" stem. At this point, I don't care if it matches the original knobs or not. The plastic knobs for the GE dryer eventually crack in the middle of the shaft rendering them useless. The knob needs to take the larger torque required to turn the dryer selection. Plastic eventually breaks down and the knob keeps turning. The center insert does not help either. Thanks, Louis Desmarais
