Mrs V for Model Number RGA724EK6WH My stove was converted to LP gas by a registered plumber. The stove top works fine. However, when I turn on the oven, big 6" flames come up into the oven--regardless of what temperature I select. The appliance repairman said I need a "LP nipple" for the oven. I am unable to find this part. GE said they only sell regulators for the stovetop--not the oven. Do I need a part for the oven or just an adjustment? Thanks in advance.
Answer Mrs V. You will want to tighten the oven orifice 1 1/2 to 2 turns and open the air shutter fully on the burner tube. This should correct the issue. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, August 18, 2017
