Heath for Model Number JGBP35WEW1WW When I replaced the oven ignitor, I accidentally adjusted the spud going into the oven burner (I forgot the burner was affixed by two screws by the spud). Oven works again, but heats up way too quickly. Initially I tightened the spud until it stopped. I didn't tighten beyond that. But in instructions for adjusting the spud and airflow (which I didn't change), out just says to tighten took it's "snug" and back of two turns. "Snug" is not a measurement. It's very subjective. How far from the stop position should I back off? Or is it possible I damaged the spud or gas nozzle by going till the stop position?
Answer Heath, When you snug it down, meaning just go til it gets to a stop point but do not wrench down on it, then you back off 2 turns. It does not sound like it has been damaged but sounds like it may just need to be adjusted. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, October 10, 2022
