Dave for Model Number GE Wall Oven: JKP13GP My GE Electric Oven suddenly started cooking at way too low a temperature - about 1/2 the set temperature (set to 400 degrees, it cooks at about 200). Otherwise everything works normally (electronic keypad works normally, cycles element to hold temperature). About the same time it stopped working, there was a lightning strike/power surge near our house that affected some other electronics, but don't know if this could be related. What could be the problem? Sensor or Control Board? thank you!
Answer Hello Dave. Check and make sure both elements are working in the unit. If so, you will need to test the sensor and see if it is good. If so, you need to order and replace the control board on the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, May 28, 2013
