Scott for Model Number GSD4030Z02WW Debris is building up behind the filter screen. Wondering if the Piston & nut needs replacing or something else? Which side of the filter screen is the debris supposed to be trapped the inside or the outside??
Answer Scott, If I understand you correctly,the debris should be on the white plastic screen on the chopper and nut side of the "filter", when you remove the sump cover and filter in the interior of the washtub bottom. There should be little to no debris on the other side of the plastic filter screen in the sump area. Hope this is helpful, Good Luck. Read More...
