Conrad I replaced a GE Left Side crisper drawer rail and with in 3 days the new rail snapped in half (right at the back screw holder). Did I do something wrong?
Answer Conrad, There are several possibilities, are you sure you didn't over tighten the rear screw, it only needs to be finger or hand tight, the cabinet liner may be warped in that are, the new part could have had a "weak" spot in it. Make sure there wasn't something heavy placed in the same area, or someone didn't put excessive pressure in the rear corner of the shelf.
