Benmjr for Model Number JS750SF3SS I have an electric GE glass top stove, model JS750SF3SS. The small burner on the triple haliant element (right front) does not come on. I am trying to decide if it is the switch or the burner element that is bad. The infinite switch, part number AP6039285/WB24X26408, has the following terminals: L1 (black), L2 (red), H1/H1A (blue wire jumped to H1B (blue-yellow stripe), H3 (purple), H2 (blue-white stripe), HC (blue) and P (yellow). I want to do a continuity test with a multimeter to verify that the switch is good. With the switch closed I believe I should get continuity between L1 and H1/H1A; L1 and H1B; L2 and H2. Is this correct? Which terminal(s) should show continuity with H3 and HC?
Answer Ben, If the outer parts of the element are working then the switch is good and this would be an element problem. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, September 25, 2023
