Projectman for Model Number WDSR2080D5WW The washer continuously fills and never advances without manual turning of the timer. The issue intermittent. Sometimes it works fine and sometimes it just fills forever. I have replaced: Rotary switch ( WH12X10498) , Timer ( WH12X10202) , Water Level Switch ( WH12X10065) I also have checked the tube from the water level switch to the drum for clogs. It is clear. What else could this be? Should I replace the water inlet valve?
Answer Projectman, The most likely cause if the unit is filling but the tub is not would be a siphoning issue. You will want to check the standpipe to make sure that it is at least 32" tall and make sure that the drain hose is not shoved down into the standpipe too far which would cause this issue.
