Arp265 for Model Number WHDSR315DAWW Hi, The plastic gear (teeth) are worn down and the knob teeth are not able to catch it to spin the dial to set the washing cycle. It is not the plastic gear teeth that are built into the inner part of the control knob. I tried replacing this. There is actually a small plastic gear that is wrapped around the rotary switch. I cannot seem to find this part. Does this come with the rotary switch?? It is never shown in any of the pictures of the rotary switch for this model. The plastic gear part I am talking about can be seen at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wnRj1bNQvrw at time 0:27 in the video. Why isn't this plastic part ever shown in the picture of the rotary knob? Does it come with it? Thank you for your help!
Answer Hello Arp265. The teeth are made onto the shaft of the timer. You need to order the timer WH12X10300 to replace the shaft. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, July 26, 2012
