Jason for Model Number JGP933WEC1WW About 6 months ago the spark module (WB13K25) and switch harness (WB18T10176) were both replaced. Three of the burners work fine now, but the fourth one has trouble lighting. When the fourth one is turned on, there is a consistent clicking noise but no ignition. I am wondering what the next step is in the repair. I'm thinking it might be the electrode (WB13K10012?) since there is the clicking signaling the spark module is still working but I'm not positive. Thank you
Answer Hello Jason, When you turn on the burner you will want to look to see if the electrode is sparking to the burner. If there is no spark then the electrode or wiring for electrode would be the problem. If there is spark then you would want to see if the spark is jumping around or if it is steady in the same place. As long as you have spark there should be fire unless it is jumping around which would indicate the ignitor is not set in properly. Read More...
