Mj Turntable Coupler: PS651211 I bought this coupler for my microwave but it doesn't fit even though I get the right model number. There is a little ridge on the side of the coupler and it won't allow it to fit all the way into the hole. So basically it is at an angle and the plate that sits on top of it is at an angle. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!
Answer MJ, Wouldn't think you're doing anything wrong. The coupler should fit and be pressed down onto the turntable motor shaft. The "little ridge on the side of the coupler" could be "slag" left over from the extrusion process, but not likely. The opening in the base of the cavity is usually a bit larger than the way you described it, but you didn't supply a model number so we can re check and verify the correct part. Use a small file, and remove the ridge on the coupler may be an option you could consider. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, October 17, 2017
