Bob for Model Number 36274221302 The oven burner no longer ignites. The stove burners work fine and I believe the glow bar igniter is working fine but when I turn on the oven, the gas pressure is so minimal, the igniter lights and stays on but no flame. Is this an issue with either the pressure reg., gas(safety)valve or the glow bar igniter? If so, what is the solution? Thanks
Answer Hello Bob. Test for 3.2-3.6 volts AC at the gas safety valve with the igniter turned on. If the voltage is there, you have a bad safety valve. If the voltage is low, you have a weak igniter and the igniter will need to be replaced. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
