Gina for Model Number JVM3160DF2WW The vent grille is broken at the right top so we have to lift the door to close, but sometimes it runs without cooking, We just lift the door a little higher and it's fine. Do you think I'm alright in just replacing the grille vent?
Answer Hello Gina, We agree that the vent grille WB07X11411 should be replaced. You will need to also check the door hinges for tightness and malformation since it sounds like the door may be drooping. The last thing to check is the door switch holder WB06X10610. These are held in place with one or two screws. If loose, the switches may not "make" electrically when the door is closed. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, January 27, 2022
