Tony A. for Model Number WLSR2000G3WW My GE washer, model # WLSR2000G3WW started acting weird over the weekend. As soon as I start the wash cycle, it goes straight to the spin cycle. It won't fill up with water or do any of the wash cycle steps, it just starts spinning dry. So I opened up the control panel and cleaned all the parts, particularly the timer. I unplugged the timer and dust it off and closed the control panel back up. When I started the washing cycle, it started filling up with water but my joy wash short lived because after that process was done and after a few seconds pause, the machine drained the water right awy rather than performing the was cycle. After that, I didn't mess with it anymore, I just thought that the timer might be bad. Could that be the problem? If so, would be worth trying to repair the timer?
Answer Tony, Yes with the description of the problem it sounds like the contacts inside the timer are stuck and the timer would need to be replaced. Timer part number WH12X10338. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, January 17, 2014
