Iceberg S. for Model Number WJSR4160G0WW My washer just decided to stop cycling through the different cycles. I watched a few videos on how to replace the timer. Would I be correct in saying that the timer is bad? I didn't open up the timer to view the inside of it.
Answer Hello Iceberg, You will need to do some troubleshooting before replacing the timer. You see, certain things have to happen before the timer motor is energized so it can advance in the cycle. You should pull the tech sheet and remove the main front of the unit. The green LED under the motor board cover will be flashing. Count the number of flashes and this will normally point you to the troubled component by using the scale on the tech sheet. The tech sheet will be inside the control panel. Read More...
