Jimbo for Model Number 1992 year GE Washing Machine Washer works great, but the knob to select different cycles kept getting stuck... finally, it got so stuck I think it is "stripped". This is the kind of knob where you push it in and turn to select a cycle.. and pull it out to start it when you get it on a cycle you want. I have put WD40 in the gears and it turns "easier" but the thing is already stripped.. and basically won't turn. Everything else is good to go. What can I get to turn it now?
Answer Hello Jimbo, You may want to check the timer knob to see if the plastic grips are stripped on it before replacing the timer. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, December 31, 2012
