Abonelli for Model Number LMV1813ST ANSWER Alex, Thanks for the question!!! Often the fuse will fail because of a faulty door switch 3501W1A019D. You can check the switches for continuity based on the NO or NC contacts on the switch. What if I see that the door contacts fine. Is there something else I need to look for before replacing the fuse?
Answer Abonelli, if the door switches tested properly when in the open and the closed state, the transformer 6170W1D052M (part has been discontinued) would need to be tested. The primary windings (terminals that do not go to the capacitor or microwave) should measure a resistance between 0.2-0.5 Ohms and the secondary windings should measure between 50-120 Ohms. If this tests good, and the windings do not have continuity to the metal frame of the transformer, the next step would be inspecting for any grounded wires or scorch marks on the main control EBR64419603. If this all checks good, the fuse 3B74133Q may have failed without an additional cause. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, December 21, 2022
