Sally for Model Number LG Tromm WM2688HWM Is there any way I can access this part without disassembling the cabinet? I think I read somewhere that someone was able to turn the machine on its side and was able to access the thermistor from underneath. ?? If this is possible, it seems a lot easier than taking apart the cabinet and gasket, which makes me nervous. If not possible, do I need any special tools to do disassemble and reassemble the cabinet? It seems like a complicated process from the instructions in the service manual so would appreciate some input and tips. I don't want to take it apart and create another problem. Thanks in advance. my warranty just expired only a week ago so hoping not to have to call a serviceman out here. :(
Answer Hello Sally, The only way to access thermistor is from the front. You could try to access by taking the bellow off the door opening and accessing that way but if unable to do this then you would have to disassembly unit. Read More...
