Ljsciortino for Model Number LG WM1832CW How do I determine which water valve (hot or cold) is malfunctioning? My hot water comes from a tankless water heater and therefore takes a little time to heat and requires more pressure than what a slow over-fill uses. I have turned off the water from the wall for hot & cold and the washer still fills when off. Is this a fix that someone who is pretty handy can handle or does it require a service technician?
Answer Hello Ljsciortino. If the washer is filling with both the hot and the cold turned off, you will need to check and see if the drain hose is siphoning water back into the machine through the drain hose. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, June 14, 2011
